[ S431 ] Very Nice old Full Polished Samurai Tanto in Aikuchi mounts in shirasaya

s431 Very Nice old Full Polished Samurai Tanto in Aikuchi mounts in shirasaya, Koto period , signed but quite worn & difficult to read, quite plain koshirae, tsuka is either carved wood or whale baleen, I will have a much closer look & add my findings at a later date, Black lacquered scabbard with tiny red flecks from the bottom layer of lacquer showing through, lovely old iron Kozuka handle with carp design & small amount of silver inlay, Kozuka blade is signed but very faint & impossible to read,
Suguha hamon with some nice highlights, healthy blade with no flaws, a few tiny loose grain but expected in blades this old, I should have turned the flash off when taking the images as the flash has made it hard to see the work in the blade, I will retake more images when time permits.
Cutting edge is 20.2 cm - 7.95 inches.
The previous owner paid a lot more for this tanto than what I am asking for it,
