[ S430 ] Nice old Samurai wakizashi in Aikuchi brocade mounts

s430 Nice old Samurai wakizashi in Aikuchi brocade mounts, I forgot to wipe old oil etc off the blade before I took images, Koto period I believe, it may be early Shinto but the quich look I had I thought Koto, however I will study it further when I get time.
Old Polish ,Nice blade with good clear hamon , it does have some open grain ,as every collector knows that its perfectly acceptable on a blade of this age ,the worst spot toward the tip is above the shinogi Ji close to the Mune.
Silvered mounts, very plain & in good order, showing wear, they would all probably polish up like new, silver foil habaki, note one side of the habaki the decorative silver foil has become detached, I lifted it off in a couple of the images to show it, however it does just slip back in place.
cutting edge is 45cm (17.7 in ) with around 14mm Sori
Hamon is a nice gentle flowing hamon,
