Description

Poster shows caricature of Nicolaas Bosboom, Dutch Secretary of War sitting up in bed clutching a pillow to his chest. In the background is a large picture of David Lloyd George, newly elected prime minister of Great Britain blowing a stream of wind at 3 small human figures huddling around a flag pole with a British flag stuck in an outline map of Great Britain spread out on the bed covers. The three figures are labeled "Jellicoe" "Asquith" and "Balfour". Additional caption reads: "Minister Bosboom: He, wat een nachmerrie ... ik dacht, dat het mij gold!" [Minister Bosboom speaks: Hey, what a nightmare ... I thought it applied to me!].
