[ M1685 ] Original 1915 Dutch propaganda

Description

Poster shows caricature of Dutch prime minister P.W.A. Cort van der Linden attempting to cut the neck of a large rooster. Dialogue caption below picture reads: "Cort van der Linden: Daar heb ik me in m'n vinger gesneden!" [Cort van der Linden: There! I cut my finger!] An egg partially labeled "N toch zal ik mij eening bli zeggen" has popped out in the struggle. Editor J.C. Schröder, was arrested on December 4, 1915 for voicing anti-German views in his Amsterdam newspaper the "Telegraaf" [Telegraph] in violation of Netherlands neutrality during the war.
Has a crease in the poster towards bottom, close up pic shows it & can be seen on last image bon the back, it would flatten out (its not a big rip )
