Superb ww1 dated and named compass in its pouch NZ MG regiment, The guys name etc is written on the front with the date 1916 but the case is dated 1918 & compass is 1917 dated, all is in beautiful condition, maybe he enlisted in 16 , i have no idea why that date would be on a 1918 dated pouch!! most likely scenario is someone has put them together since the war ?
