Heavy Old steel spear or Lance head, its quite heavy thick steel that's why i think it could be considered a lance head, there is a hole through the end for securing to a pole,
The scabbard looks native , the head does fit inside but is pushes the 2 sides of the scabbard apart, Note the last owner who i just bought it from has a rubber band around the base of the scabbard , either they have been married up or the timber has shrunk with age,
Non the less its a neat old head, heavily pitted as images shown & its been heavily cleaned.
