I HAVE DECIDED TO KEEP THIS IN MY OWN COLLECTION A WHILE LONGER
Attractive Napoleonic wars era British sword massive curvature 1800. Lion head Pommel , faint gold inlay in etched area's of the blade, complete with leather scabbard, note the scabbard leather at the throat is either missing an inch or has shrunk over time, the sword still fits completely inside the scabbard, fish skin grip is in good condition for its age with most of the wire wrap still intact ,a couple of loose strands & a couple of missing wire strands as images show. The blade is in nice condition, just the usual bit of light pitting & rust, it would clean up some but i don't touch them except for a wipe over with oil.
