[ S120 ] Napoleonic war era British ivory handle lion head blue and gilt officers sword DISPLAY ITEM

SOLD ROX Napoleonic wars era British checkered ivory handle with a chip towards end as seen in images above,Gold gilt lion head pommel with blue and gilt blade, quite unusual how this one is etched, the blue & gilt is done in separate panels along the blade.,the blue is very feint & hard to capture in a photo, the gold etching shows up fine in the images, there is also other engraving on the blade that is not gilded etc,Blade has some pitting as is quite often the case with these swords, Monogram on the gilt langet. complete with original scabbard, the scabbard has shrunk a little & the sword sits out around 1/2 inch out of scabbard as per the pics. this could most likely be fixed but i don't play around with stuff.
a superb sword, another i had put aside for my own collection but have decided to part with it
