I HAVE DECIDED TO KEEP THIS IN MY OWN COLLECTION A WHILE LONGER
This is a very nice complete and original 1803 British Infantry Officers sword from the Napoleonic era. The blade retains most of the blue and the quality suggests it belonged to a high ranking officer., it does show wear & a the odd bit of rust which i would be suss of if it didn't, The grip has no chips and all the wire is intact but quite a few strands are loose. The scabbard retains its brass fittings and has no splits. fittings have movement as is generally the norm, 0083
