Nice silver mounted Percussion SS pistol by H SMITH London, captive ramrod, nice chequering to grip, percussion cap storage in bottom of grip, slight engraving, action all works soundly, silver escutcheon to back of grip with original owners initials, silver inlaid bands on barrel close to action ,The only thing I can fault with this pistol is the small silver band at the bottom of the grip has split, shown in the greater detail in the 8th photo, a silversmith would fix it in a heartbeat & I doubt it would cost much,
No license required to own in Qld but it needs to go on the antique register here in Qld, Other states rules may differ so check with local firearms registry as I will before I will send interstate, some state may require it to go from dealer to dealer. which will be at the buyer's expense if that's the case.
