Full polish Japanese Samurai Tanto in Koshirae with real wild hamon & tempering.

PLEASE NOTE The Brown spots you see in the images are just dust & wood particals from the saya, i didnt wipe the blade before i took the images,.

Signature: Mumei (Unsigned).
Superb blade in fresh new Japanese polish ,100% flawless with awesome hamon.Nothing to fault on this sword, blade & fittings are all awesome,

Habaki : Solid silver single piece habaki.
Blade length : 23.8 cm = 9.37 inches.
Sori : 0.2 cm = 0.07 inches.
Mekugi: 2
Width at the hamachi : 2.61 cm = 1.02 inches.
Kasane : 0.63 cm = 0.24 inches.
Era : Middle to Late Edo period.
Jitetsu : Koitame hada well grained with jinie
Hamon : Niedeki hitatsura hamon.


Tsuba : iron hamidashi tsuba, peony flowers design with gold iroe.
Fuchi , kashira & Kojiri: all matching silver Peony flowers
Saya : Black ishimeji saya.
Menuki : solid silver Horse
Kozuka : shakudo nanako with shakudo & gold Bees
Kozuka blade - (kogatana) is also in Full Japanese polish, blade is signed & has horimono carving of a dragon around the ken sword, very nice kogatana blade
