[ s213 ] British officers sword GV and GV1

Description

British officers sword Gv1, nice sword all round, the previous owner or the one before him had coated it all in a light shellac, the brownish gold stain you see I have removed a lot of it just by scratching it off with my fingernail, as you can see I got bored with it, I imagine there is something like mineral turps etc or even paint stripper that will remove the rest with ease.so the odd blade colour is from the shellac & not bad stains.
Grip wire is perfect, grips very good overall, nice blade & scabbard overall, the odd small pit here & there but the majority of the blade is very good, The Royal cipher on the guard is GV but the blade has GvI
