scarce Australian Boer war bandoleer x Tasmanian contingent, the gent I got this from picked it up in Tasmania, nice old piece, has one flap with a lot of damage, its almost torn off but is just hanging on, if treated carefully it will hold for a lot longer but if handle without care it may come off, , another has a small tear etc, all shown in images, leather is quite soft as he kept it greased which has saved it, one marking I can see on the back is a letter W, also a very faint owners name scratched into the back but near impossible to see it let alone read it, The 2nd last image best shows you where the flaps are torn my price is very reasonable when compared to all the examples that sold recently , most went for over 1000 plus 20% commission on top
