[ m118 ] m118 Unusual Bushranger era sweet heart piece projectile with stone

Unusual sweet heart bushranger era piece, it's an old lead ball projectile with a stone (glass I imagine) mounted in it for a necklace pendant, I picked this up years ago with a few old mid 1800s Police / bushranger items that i was collecting at the time, the suspension ring on the projectile appears to be rose gold, the stone won't be a diamond that's for sure, the chain may be silver but possible plated but it could have been replaced before I got it, this is very unusual but also bloody ugly, there is every possibility it was a ball dug out of someone back in the 1800s & kept as a keepsake, no doubt we will never know for sure.
