Scarce ww1 French trench fighting knive

Scarce ww1 French trench fighting knive , made by Brevet at St Etienne, They used blades from 1871 Gras bayonets & put a finely checkered aluminium hilt on them, awesome looking knife & this is the only the 2nd one i have ever seen in the flesh, the blade has been used, its has rust damage & staining (looks a lot worse in these images due to the close up pics with the flash) its actually nicer in the flesh , a bit of info & images on this knike on page 27 plate 93 & 94 in the book titled "Fighting knives" by Frederick J Stephens, an illustrated guide to fighting knives & Militay survival weapons of the world. Great reference book if you can locate a copy.
